Graphite Digital work with organisations that play a valuable role in improving people’s lives and health. The healthcare and pharma industry is complex and you’re under pressure to connect with patients and HCPs and build effective digital experiences.

Role: Senior UI Designer

During my time at Graphite Digital, I played a key role in a significant migration project for our client, Pfizer. This extensive undertaking involved the migration of fifty-four distinct HCP (Healthcare Professional) and patient product sites. Each site presented unique challenges, featuring its own branding, specific indications, Important Safety Information (ISI), and diverse page content, all managed over an intensive eight-month period.

My day-to-day tasks within this project were dynamic and varied. A core responsibility involved designing UI assets and comprehensive product pages, primarily utilising tools such as Sketch and the Adobe Suite. A crucial aspect of my role was to collaborate cross-functionally with various teams, ensuring the efficient delivery of creative solutions that consistently met both project timelines and budgetary constraints.

Remarkably, the entire project, which was initially scoped to take twelve months, was successfully brought to fruition within an accelerated timeframe of just eight months. This early completion stands as a testament to efficient planning, robust collaboration, and dedicated execution.

The Design Process

Here's my process for designing the Pfizer product pages:

When we were tasked with designing Pfizer's product pages, one thing became immediately clear: their guidelines were incredibly strict, and we had to adhere to a very precise set of rules. A paramount requirement was the prominent inclusion of Important Safety Information (ISI) on every single product page. This wasn't merely a suggestion; it was a non-negotiable legal obligation that we had to ensure was perfectly integrated and easily accessible. Equally critical was the accurate presentation of Indication information, which also needed to be readily accessible on all relevant pages.

Our design process was heavily influenced by these stringent guides, ensuring full compliance and user safety were always at the forefront of our work.
