Social Media Campaigns

Feel Good Factor TV

As a social media specialist, I had the exciting opportunity to manage the social media campaigns for several shows on Feel Good Factor TV, which aired on SKY TV. One of my key projects was "Girls Talk," a vibrant chat show featuring the incredible Sue Stone, Suzanne Selvester, Heather Small, and Stacey Haber.

My role involved working closely with their management teams to craft engaging social media content across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (now X). The primary goal was to drive viewership for the show, which aired every Sunday throughout 2020 – a period significantly impacted by lockdowns. I focused on creating posts that highlighted the show's key themes, showcased the personalities of the hosts, and encouraged interaction amongst potential viewers. Given the unique circumstances of the lockdown, we aimed to provide a sense of connection and positive entertainment through our social media efforts, ultimately contributing to the show's reach and impact.

All About The Music TV

As part of the team behind "All About The Music" on Showcase TV (Sky Channel 191), I lived and breathed music every week. My role/ mission was to amplify the voices of incredible artists, both established and emerging, through engaging social media content.

"All About The Music" wasn't just a show; it was a platform. We showcased the best in unsigned talent with "Toms Seals Presents" and "Fab Song," celebrated the art of production in "Meet The Producers," and brought the energy of live performance with "Live from the Edge." From the vibrant rhythms of "Jive Time" to exclusive peeks behind the curtain in "Backstage Pass" and the rich sounds of "The Irish Music Show," we offered something for every music lover.

My role was to weave all these diverse elements into a cohesive online presence. I collaborated with producers, writers, journalists, and the show's director, meticulously ensuring every post, tweet, and story reflected the unique brand of each segment and drove maximum impact. Working closely with the show's producer, Rocco Bounvino, I helped bring the energy and passion of "All About The Music" to life beyond the screen, connecting viewers with the artists they loved and introducing them to new sounds. TikTok @Fourth_Kind

As a designer accustomed to working within established briefs, complete with imagery and copy, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and launch my own TikTok channel, Fourth_Kind, dedicated to UFOs and the unexplained – a subject I've been fascinated by since childhood, fueled by stories from a family friend who worked for the MOD in that very area.

This was a venture into the unknown, relying solely on my knowledge, experience, and instincts as a designer and social media content creator. My aim was to delve into TikTok, testing what content resonated with audiences, generating likes, shares, and followers. I wanted to see how quickly a novice like myself, primarily using Canva and the Adobe Suite for platforms like X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, could find success.

I began curating stories, articles, and images, meticulously crafting content that aligned with my vision. Initially, I used Canva, but quickly learned to leverage TikTok's own tools. The first week saw a modest start with 9 followers. However, perseverance and consistent high-quality posts soon paid off, resulting in a few hundred followers and views.

The second week brought exponential growth, with views climbing into the thousands and followers reaching approximately 600. Then came the pivotal moment – a video featuring agents discussing the real possibility of alien existence went viral. Within days, it garnered over 100,000 views, sparking hundreds of comments and shares, which significantly boosted my follower count.

As of April 8th, 2025, just five weeks into the experiment, Fourth_Kind had amassed over 10,000 likes, 700,200 views, and over 2,000 followers. This experience underscores the critical role of effective content presentation, brand establishment, and audience targeting in achieving social media success.

Now, as I write this in June, Fourth_Kind has almost reached 3000 followers, with over 20,000 likes and exceeding a million views! It's been an incredible journey, one that I will continue.
